New Running Shoes! *Updated*

*Disclaimer: I am not a shoe/foot expert, this is only my opinion!*

So, I have been really lazy (lazy, lazy, lazy...) all winter. Put on a couple butt, thigh lbs & Need to burn them off! My birthday is coming up (I'll never tell, so don't ask!) and all I wanted was some new running shoes. I made a new friend recently who talked with me about the importance of minimal heel height on running shoes and how traditional running shoes are not good for your feet. (Of course her Dad owns a shoe store and she brought some great new styles for us all to try on.) I then started to do a little of my own research to see if she was blowing smoke or had a valid point. Here is one of the reviews I read about the New Balance Minimus Trail shoes.

So after deciding I would give this "transition shoe" a try, I started searching for the best price on a pair of Minimus sneakers to give my body the sole it needs :)
Well, thank you Amazon, for the deal & free shipping! I'm telling you, you just have to keep checking your cart. I check it now & then and Amazon tells me what items went up/down in price. $99 shoes (different styles range from $55-$110) and one day I log in to order some Go-Go Squeez (oh dear, my girls are loving this new snack!) and my sneakers had decreased in price to $59.95! Whoop Whoop! Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me :)
And, of course, I choose Free Super Saver Shipping, because I'm not really in a hurry to get back to running... Ugh, have you seen my motivation? I think I'm really going to be sore after that first day back. Best part? My sneaks are actually being delivered ON my Birthday!

**UPDATE**
So sad... These shoes hurt my feet. Well, not a lot, but they had a seam across the top of the toes that bent into my toes with every step. So, instead of wearing them once & then not being able to return them, I returned them right away! No issues with that, Amazon is great about returns.
Well, next day we went shopping to finish up Easter basket shopping. Of course Hubby & I had to stop at Dick's Sporting Goods. LoVe that place! Easy place to spend a paycheck :)
Found a super similar, yet super comfy pair!! Woot Woot! And only $10 more, which is for sure worth the painlessness!

Yes, I have been running in them. Yes, I love them!!!!!
